What are you sad about? Do you feel like sharing your feelings?

I'm leaving the house right now to get some errands taken care of, I'll check back with you as soon as I get back.

Take care of yourself. Put on a favorite CD or do you have a good book you are reading right now?
Sometimes reading for me is a great way to pass the time and get involved in another life.

> What are you sad about?

Im not sure. It may just be the that time of the month but 2 days ago I started feeling sad and today I feel jsut awful....been crying

Do you feel like sharing your feelings?

I know what made me feel worse, but I cant really talk about it. And I dont want to let on to people IRL how upset I actually am. Im tryng to be strong but inside it really hurts and feels really lonely.

I don't know how much comfort I can be, but I can join you. Maybe we can be sad together?

I'll be leaving for therapy soon, but if it would help I'll be available this afternoon.

I know that during my period I feel sadder about things that normally wouldn't get me so crazy. It's tough being a woman sometimes. Our hormones raging inside of us.

Sounds like someone upset you. Why wouldn't you want to let them know that? You could appoach it in a nice way, "I felt xyz when you said blah, blah blah." It may help you feel better, but you know your situation best.

What book are you currently reading? I'm just finishing up "Confessions of the Ugly Stepsisters" --- light, entertaining, nothing to make me think or cry. Every once in awhile, I need to lighten the reading load with thinkless material!!

i couldn't tell if it was someone or something that made you sad or if it was just sadness spilling out all over the place. i had a few days like that. 2 in a row. i cried so hard i couldn't walk across my living room. i couldn't eat, i couldn't sleep, i couldn't even watch tv because i couldn't pay attention. do you write in a journal? i'm being hypocritical by suggesting it because it doesn't help me that much but i know people who get a lot out of it. is there a reason you don't want people irl to know why you are sad? unfortunately, i usually can't help but announce really loudly with the sounds of sobbing that i'm upset and sad to anyone i come in contact with which is why during these periods, i spend a lot of time at home.

it really does help to get it out though. you could make another alias here and write about it under that username. just an idea.

on the bright side, there is a law and order marathon on USA...

I'm so sorry your sad LW. Wish you could talk about it, but sometimes you just can't. I write a lot, and it helps sometimes. I'm going through the monthly thing right now too, and i'm sad and angry, and it s*cks. sometimes nothing can take your mind off of it, but if you can find just one thing. i slept all day, not recommended but sometimes needed.

i hope you're feeling better.

I think thats what it is, Ive been so emotional the last few days and then today I was crying like a baby over things that normally wouldnt hit so hard.

> Sounds like someone upset you. Why wouldn't you want to let them know that? You could appoach it in a nice way, "I felt xyz when you said blah, blah blah." It may help you feel better, but you know your situation best.

Things worked out and and I will be telling them, eventually. It is always better to say something, I fell into a pit of self pity today.

thats so funny! I tried to start "confessions of a shopaholic" but couldnt pay attention or sit still so I went out christmas shopping to get rid of my negative energy. I like the sound of the book you are reading. Ill have to pick up a copy. Thinkless material is great! Thanks again

It was a combination of all of the above. I was leaking tears today :). I guess, its also a really stressful time.

>i had a few days like that. 2 in a row. i cried so hard i couldn't walk across my living room. i couldn't eat, i couldn't sleep, i couldn't even watch tv because i couldn't pay attention.

yup, sounds familar

do you write in a journal? i'm being hypocritical by suggesting it because it doesn't help me that much but i know people who get a lot out of it.

no Im not a journal writer but people have recomended it. Its supposed to be very therapeutic.

>is there a reason you don't want people irl to know why you are sad?

cuz...I hate ever letting people know when im sad. I dont mind expressing anger but my weaknesses I have a harder time with. Really beatmyself up about it. I felt like a huge LOSER today, just in general. And once you feel it its hard as h*ll to get it out of your head.

>unfortunately, i usually can't help but announce really loudly with the sounds of sobbing that i'm upset and sad to anyone i come in contact with which is why during these periods, i spend a lot of time at home.
>

When its like that I like to avoid people too. I hate crying in front of people, sometimes I cant help it though and it just pours out. I always make up an excuse as to why Im crying.

> it really does help to get it out though. you could make another alias here and write about it under that username. just an idea.

thats actually a good idea :) I did cry my eyes out today and things sorta patched themselves together for the moment.

I would love to do that, I really need to right now. Its weird I become a totally different person for a week. I really dont like it. shopping helped since I still needed to get some things so I had a goal and not just aimless wandering.

Thanks so much, I am feeling better
