Today

Posted by Angela2 on September 20, 2005, at 12:45:25

I'm on my lunch break right now. It's been OK so far. Except I feel like I can't talk to anybody normally because I've done something bad. I feel like they're all looking at me like I'm a criminal. They're not, really. But what if they are? I feel like anything that comes out of my mouth will sound fake or provocative:( I can't imagine what some people that I really like there must be thinking about me. Sleepygirl, I hope you're right about people having their own troubles on theor minds. thanks for telling me that.

Hey Angela

Good for you for going in! In a day or so they will have totally forgotten what happened. Try not to worry about them. But the more you avoid *them* the more it may seem like they are focussed on you. Im sure that anything they are saying if it is about you is not negative. Just a thought....what we tell ourselves has a huge impact on how we react to others and how others react to us. If there are specific people at work who bother you try and talk your self into believeing that they are insignificant and that they really dont matter, and any comments or looks from them mean nothing. ok thats hard to do but slowly working on changing your thoughts may make a difference.
Good luck tomorrow!
hang in there
