terminology help: XFD

Is anyone familiar with the term "XFD"? The only context I have for it is in the phrase:

"Suffering from anxiety and panic regarding her XFD".

Any thoughts?

Susan

Yeah, I tried that first - turns out it is a file extension in Unix systems and also an airport code. The most promising meanings that we found (after I posted this) were "final diagnosis" and "X-ray fluorescent display" or something like that. I would go with final diagnosis, personally.

Does it fit, in context? Were you upset with your final diagnosis?

Actually, it wasn't me. :) Happily, anxiety isn't a big part of my depression - I've experienced it, but only when I'm at my worst. No, I work in the health field in a clerical capacity and a colleage got an email containing that phrase and we had no idea what it meant. :)
