Will Benzodiazepines affect the effectiveness of adderall, even though Amphetamines like Adderall typically take the edge off or have a calming effect in those who have tested positive for ADD and ADHD? Will these two drugs work together to produce a desired result, or will they work against eachother?

Are you a doctor? People might infer that from the "dr"...

FYI - Dr Bob is letting you know that the boards here work better when some of us don't indicate our credentials. My PhD is in Education. I have had much better discourse since I dropped my "Dr" moniker. I am a counselor starting up a coaching business. This board has been a lifeline for me. I've found true friends here-in, also.

PS: I came up with 64Bowtie because I've owned my 1964 Chevy (bowtie is the emblem) pick-up for 30 years. I've become attached, sorta.

I doubt this board would work this well if everyone posted credentials.
It seems as though there are alot of folks here with masters and better. And then of course there is me. LOL
What makes this board work is the equality. terrics

I have never given them together. What desired effect are you talking about. Do you want to concentrate?? then forget the benzos. Or do you want to relax?? In my opinion, then I would forget the adderall. I am no expert. P.S. This probably belongs on the medication board. terrics

I am so glad you folks are forthcoming on meds info. I am deprived of meds-info other than whatever offered by illicit self medicators I might counsel. Yes, I know how to navigate the PDR, I just don't work much with meds. I am very grateful for anything I learn here. So, by all means, lets get an answer to the question of this thread. I hope I haven't impeded anybody in anyway.

Since you haven't answered, I'm going to ask you to re-register under a different name. Please follow the steps at:
