Hi Miller,

I heard from Lou, and he is fine, but has decided it's better for his health to quit posting on PB, at least for a while.

And while I hate to see any Babbler leave, I applaud Lou for doing what's best for his health.

Take care of yourself, Lou.

Miller,
You wrote,[...I havn't seen a post from you ...I am worried about you...].
Thank you for thinking of me. I have also been thinking of your suffering that you describe here, and would like to be of any support to you. I will post to any topic in [faith] that you think would be of benifit to you by reading what I may have experianced about it, or you can email me. I hope that my response to your post will enable you to [not] worry about me.
Best regards,

Lou, I will answer/comment in order that you wrote.

Your welcome for thinking of you. I have missed you.

I would welcome your support. I could use all the support I can get. Especially about faith right now.

But, Lou, you haven't said that you are alright. I was worried for a reason. If you don't want to talk about it, I can understand that. But, know that I will listen to what you have to say.

I wanted to say that recently I met a psychologist online. He is helping me immensely. That is a good thing. But, I am now confused about religion. The psychologist is very religious, and I find that comforting, even though he and I aren't of the same faith. But, I am not sure I am really feeling that I need faith or if I am creating another delusion to feel closer to the shrink? Any ideas?

Take care, my friend. And thank you, again.

Dearest Lou,

Does it matter the reason? The basic, strppied down, question remains the same. Are you alright? Which, by the way, is a most important concern. You don't need to be specific. You just need to be honest.

As for the reason, it was because you hadn't posted in some time and the response I got back from Dinah regarding your adsence.

Thank you again for your concern. I want to post to clear up the questions that you raise.
You wrote,[...you havn't posted for some time...]and [...Dinah said that you were not posting for health reasons...]
To explain this, I will have to tell of some of what I experianced on The Road. After I do that, then I think that your question,[...are you alright?...] will be answered.

Miller,
When I was on The Road, I asked the Rider, who is The word of God in my experiance, "Where am I?" He answerd me and said," You are in The Valley of The Shadow of Death." I thought that He was referring [only] to physical death, for we all have that Shadow hanging over us. But He went on and said to me,"To be carnally minded is Death, and to be spiritually minded is Life and Peace. Whatever is just and good and lovely and true and honest and whatever things that you can praise, think upon those things and the God of Peace shall be with you."
Miller, I began to get away from thinking of spiritual things and was thinking of the things of the flesh mind. You see, I have been describing a War here, it is a Civil War, a War between the carnal mind and the spiritual mind. To overcome is to have the victory in [this] civil war. So I had to retreat from the battle. And I found out that when I reached the City of Peace, the war was over. The Gates opened and I was freed and there were others there rejoicing saying, "free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, I am free at last."

Dear Lou,

Was the civil war being fought due to posting here? I think the last thing anyone would want is for you to feel as if posting here is harmful to you.

Healthy debate can be good. It can stregthen our beliefs nad clarify our doubts. We also have the ability to be able to take debate and motivate ourselves to learn more.

So, although I am glad that your retreat has given you the peace you were in need of, I don't want you to post to me if it will harm you in anyway.

I have just learned the meaning of "real love". I have heard the definition time and time again, however, I have just understood it. Real love is to give without expectation of receiving and the hope of good to others. I am offering you my first gift of true love. I want the best for you. I want you to be healthy and peaceful. If to stop posting will give you that, please stop. And mostly I hope, for you, to be safe.

I have not completed telling of the 7 Gates . But what you have written is revealed in the last part of my experiance. It is one of the parts that reveal how one can be victorious in The Civil War. It is the death of Death.

Miller,
For the past year or so, i have been describing here a spiritual experiance that I had that gave me the power to overcome depression and addiction. This experiance I have called ,The 7 Gates on the Road to the Crown of Life.
In my experiance, there were many things revealed to me. One was what Death is, and how we can overcome Death and have eternal life. After I returned from The City of Peace, I could say, " O Death , where is your sting?, and O grave, where is your victory?"

In another part of my experiance, I saw Death and Hell cast into a Lake of Fire. They were destroyed. There was no more Hell or Death. Death was killed. It was the death of Death.

Lou,

I hope you aren't offended by what I am about to say, but to me, it is important.

What if I don't want eternal life? I am having a hard enough time with the life I am trying to deal with now. When I die, I want it over. Everything over. I want it done. Does that make sense to you?

I feel you see the death of Death as a good thing, I see it as more torture.

Don't be upset with me. I told you I can be kind of slow at times.

Miller,
You wrote,[... I see the death of Death as more torture...]
If the death of Death meant that one would continue in their same existance, then I could understand why someone would write what you wrote.
But when I entered The City of Peace, there was a change. I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,"Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, niether sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away."
And He that sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new."

But Lou,

Even if all things are made new in the eternal life, that doesn't mean I won't be able to mess them all up again. Do you see what I am saying? I have a great ability. The ability is to hurt others and myself. Even in the eternal life you speak of, I would leave terror in my wake. I tired of it all, Lou.

To me, there is not a comfort in knowing that I am not DONE once I die. I just want the end,no more, finished. Why would I look forward to being as I am now only with a "clean slate"? I won't change. I haven't changed. There is no comfort in continuing for me.

Oh, Lou, you have no idea how badly I have hurt other people and others in general. I honestly believe there is a part of me which is pure evil. So, what I am saying, is that I don't want an eternal life where I would have the chance to continue hurting.

I want to be stopped. I don't look forward to everlasting life. Regardless if the "slate is wiped clean", I don't trust myself not to continue with my bad ways.

Can you understand that when I don't trust myself, I can't look forward? I can't look forward to a future here in this life. I certainly can't look forward to an EVERLASTING life. YIKES!!

Some people are good, decent people. Then there are others, such as myself. It is a good possibility that I am here for a comparison purpose. I can be used to compare others to show how well or how bad they are. A sort of Miller scale.

So, although true love means the simple wish for another's good, I send the wish to you for your everlasting life. That would not be a good wish for me. I don't want an everlasting life.

Dear Lou,

That is one of the toughest questions I have been asked in a long time.

I think the answer may be a little more complicated than a yes or no answer.

I am going to seriously think this over. I want to give you an honest answer, and since I don't know, I will have to think about it.

I will post later tonight, or tomorrow.

In reply to Miller » Miller, posted by Lou Pilder on January 14, 2003, at 16:23:57

Ok, Lou,

I have thought about your question. The reason the answer is so hard for me to find is that there are two kinds of hurt: the kind I create and the kind that is directed towards me.

My uncertainty was if I was unable to hurt anyone in the everlasting afterlife would I want to be there? But what about the hurt directed towards me? Could I handle that without having to handle the guilt and shame of having hurt others?

Yes, I would want an everlasting life I if were unable to hurt others. If I am meant to hurt in the afterlife, than that is the punishment I deserve. As long as I could not be cruel.

Sorry it took me so long to answer, but, you had me thinking.

Miller,
You wrote, [...yes. I would want everlasting life if I were unable to hurt others...].
It has been revealed to me that in the City of Peace that the lion shall lie down with the lamb. Even the animals natures will be changed so that there will be no hurting of others.
When I was on the Road, I asked the Rider, who is the Word of God in my experiance, "Why are you here?" He answered me and said,
"The spirit of God is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To tell the good news to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison
To those who are bound."

Miller,
You wrote,[...no heaven or hell...only eternal life meant for evryone including criminals...]
The concepts of heaven and hell are understood differently by diffeent people. The popular teaching of them, however, is not what has been revealed to me to be.
As far as you writing, [..eternal life being meant for evryone...], eternal life is [meant] for evryone. For when I was in The City of Peace, it was revealed to me that God is seeking All to be in His Kingdom, for All we like sheep have gone astray, and that Hell was created for the Devil and his followers. This is one of the things that I have been trying to explain in my experiance. It has been revealed to me that Eternal life is not meant for just this group or that group. In Eternal life, it has been revealed to me that there is no this religion or that religion,no this race or that race,no good health or bad health, no male or female, no rich or poor, no "good" people or "bad" people,no this sexual oreintation or that sexual oreintation, and having a criminal past is not a disqualifying factor.
I have not revealed, yet, all that has been revealed to me about The Lake of Fire, which has been revealed to me to be something different from hell, because it has been revealed to me that Death and Hell are destroyed in The Lake of Fire. The Lake of Fire has been revealed to me to be The Second Death, the death of Death, and The Second Death has no power to those that Overcome. When I met the Rider, who is the Word of God in my experiance, He said to me, " He that Overcomes , I will give to him the Crown of Life."
