3. May get great job at local DHS.

6. Christmas was good but I drank too much wine and resolved (2009) to not do that again, no matter how delicious.
7. Best friend is crazy. He thinks his chihuahua can talk. So that gives me great leverage when we discuss mental health issues. (He works with juvies)
8. I've started in the "A" section of the library and intend to read my way through or throw up.

The choruses in Handel's Messiah were like a lovely forest, with the different patterns all in layers.

I worry about the way I planted the trees, but the other day I went down there and saw 4 members of a Tawny Frogmouth family sitting on a branch looking very strange, like this, but all in a row

They really do look like wood.

My kids are OK; they have friends who look after each other, and all things considered are in great shape

All the encounters with the interesting and friendly people on Babble.

Last year Howard lost not only the government but his own seat. And this year Obama won. I didn't expect it.

I love the photo!!!! Owls are my favourite birds.......how lucky that you have those near you. The trees are quite impressive also.

I'm celebrating tonight by having a big piece of chocolate and a glass of milk..I am so excited for our New Year!

There is a very concerted effort on the political boards to smear Obama because he is black. It is disheartening and then I think about the fact that WE won...they didn't.

xoxoxo pat

I have enough medication
and therapy
provided by my insurance for a reasonable rate

I have a sparkling, glowing, magical xmas tree

I just ate a lot of garlicky shrimp

Tomorrow I will have garlic breath, and I don't give a crap.

My cousin is visiting, and she's funny as hell

Things that make me feel good-- babblers

yep.
