I have been googling "exotic antidepressants" and came up with Naltrexone and now Saffron.
Saffron appears it is equally effective to fluoxetine and Imipramin.

This too I have tried.
It's in traditional Persian medicine.
I read it works like an SSRI.
It wasn't much use to me but did me no harm at all.
