I had bloot testing done.

Posted by Lamdage22 on July 26, 2017, at 10:11:49

Hi Folks,

so i am/was deficient in Magnesium, Selenium, Taurine, Threonine, Arginine, Proline and Vitamin D3. Thats why i have upped the D3 further to a pretty high dosage. See signature. I take all these as supplements right now. I dont know if and how much it helps but anyway.. I take it. Since about 3 weeks. I guess benefits are not to be expected too soon so its probably too early to tell.

I also take 10mg methylfolate and a basic b complex by thorne research.

Its good to have dr-bob up and running again. I am not a medications friend, but dr-bob is not all about medication and it is a good line of support. Good to see you all again.

I know you live in Germany, but what is this test called?

Good to see you again, too, after all those months that this site was down.

Hey Hugh,

it was a number of independent blood tests. If you want i can give you the values that were checked. Its very expensive though. My father paid it for me.

Regards

It would be interesting to see, if it's not too much trouble for you.

It sure is good to see Dr-Bob back up & running again!

I did the Genomind test that revealed I'm a mutant of the MTHFR variety. Basically, my body doesn't want to work well with folate.

So, the prominent psychiatrist that interpreted my Genomind results prescribed Deplin 15mg for me, which after 2 months didn't seem to be making much, if any, difference.
I'm still taking an L-methylfolate supplement at considerable cheaper price.
