How far into spring/summer light therapy?

Posted by Lamdage22 on April 22, 2022, at 1:37:41

Do any of you do it? Anyone affected by seasonal affective disorder? I quit light therapy 5 days ago and I noticed I got the "tired and hungry" depression again that I associate with the cold and dark months. It seems I quit it too early. Now planning to do it into the middle of may.

Maybe try to phase it out gradually, like you would taper off a medication.

I'd do it year-round, with a few breaks in between. If it helps lift depression, why not? You (Lamdage22) are on heavy antipsychotics....and the light therapy is definitely needed!!

IMHO..
