Supplement: nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN)

Posted by undopaminergic on September 17, 2021, at 11:38:07

I came across this:

Referenced from a thread on a schizophrenia forum:

It's about a supplement called nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN).

It sounds interesting. Has anyone here tried it, or heard of it?

I haven't heard of nicotinamide mononucleotide, but I've read about fascinating research being done on nicotinamide riboside at the University of Iowa.

The article I linked to also said NR and NMN "dance together". If that is so, supplementing both of them could be a superior approach.

Maybe this is something for Lamdage? I'm interested in trying it myself.

Both of those made me feel better, easily the most useful supplement I have taken.

The catch was activation of herpes simplex.

It does sound like it is. I think I had a bad reaction to niacinamide.

It doesn't have to do that for you. Be happy with small improvements and don't ramp up the dose.
