Pharmacy verifies every generic batch they sell

Posted by PeterMartin on February 11, 2020, at 22:31:06

Has anyone tried the company Valisure for medicines before? They check every batch of every generic medicine they sell (reject over 10%). I think I may give it a try w/ a refill of Lamotrigine since I've been paranoid about the effectiveness of the various brands since TEVA discontinued.

Apparently Valisure are the people who first noticed that Zantac type medicines had purity issues.

pdoc discussing the reasons behind doing this (I agree w/ the paranoia stuff): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4GyfaSTg1E

Trust pilot says their legit:

Of course I have NO affiliation w/ this site/pharmacy but if they can give me peace of mind that these India/China based pills I take are legit that alone might help my mood. (Re: nocebo effect if I'm constantly wondering/switching).

The CEO of the company was on cable news last week talking about the problem w/ generics and their service. Pretty cool:
