Hi, I posted here a while ago about Nardil, Paxil, and some other meds.
There's always talk about how much forums have died down, and how people have been been going to social media and other online communities.
This forum is especially unusual and dated in its format. But the people here are civil, thoughtful, and helpful - unlike the many rude and immature people on other sites.
I was wondering how old everyone is here. Are they mostly older people on this forum? I'm in my late 30s. I first posted on a support forum when I was in college.

i started posting when i was in high school, 16 or 17. I'm 32. I've been here quite a while
yeah this board we have intresting people and support that other boards do not have. Babble posters, this site's format is from the late 1990s. But still it's good to post here. Before site had electricty and was .. you would get at least 4-5 reponse posts within just days, now it's kinda of ... the main posters.

im 73. Started taking meds in 1990. Avoided them until then, when I became totally unable to function. And already both maois have pooped out on me. Doctors say i should have started taking meds earlier, maybe my anxiety/depression would not have got so bad..... but i dread to think how many meds might have pooped out over the years.... or maybe that poop out does not happen to the majority ?

I'm 52.
Been battling depression and anxiety since 1982.
Started taking Prozac in 1990.
Still taking it, though I'm not sure it does much of anything for me anymore.Rudy

I'm 44, going on 90...
Was totally undepressed ages 0-20 and total depressed 21-present day. Extremely treatment resistant. Have run out of options barring VNS/DBS.
