Major AnxietyAttack re:pre-existing conditions

Has anyone else read the article regarding cutting protection against pre-existing conditions?

Early in June i read an article talking about how the US justice department asked fed judge to overturn the (Affordable Care Act) guaranteed coverage for pre-existing conditions.
It sounded like there were several senators that had agreed to back this bill.

This has been a MAJOR issue for me (not only because of my own issues) but my children have pre-existing conditions as well!
i have since calmed down about it, but i can only find that same article back. i do not know what has become of it. I am guessing if it was reviewed they either couldnt get enough to back it and it was never brought forward, OR it is waiting and could potentially be passed.

PLEASE if anyone has heard about this (updated info) please let me know.

**ON TOP OF THAT, my place of employment is changing from a very good insurance company to a really REALLY cruddy one (at least here in this state they are really bad for coverage).
I have had two major panic attacks because of this change corresponding with the dropping of protection for pre-existing conditions. It is entirely possible that if i am no longer protected, and THEN the new insurance co comes to take over, it is very likely possible that they will do a re-evaluation of all employees and either deny coverage to myself(and family) or charge WAY higher...
panic
panic
panic
breathe......

grrrr why is all this happening!!

Hey, I don't understand the legalities really. But nothing like that will change asap. I don't think so, unless someone else here corrects me, then I'll join you in panic. But that means sssssssoooo many people would be thrown off healthcare, and there'd be an social crisis.

So take a breath. We went from good insurance to semi cruddy insurance. It's a bummer, but I'm still getting my needs met.

Just gotta vote and pray.

I would like to plug GoodRX (app and website). I haven't idea how they do it but w.o. any kinda sign ups I often get better prices using their app (coupon) then my insurance. It'll quote you and show you how much it can get your your meds at pharmacies near you (using GPS/zip):
