Nardil Clonazepam Alcohol question

Posted by blinkybill126 on February 12, 2018, at 14:13:03

Hello!
Question about Nardil, Clonazepam and alcohol:
I'm taking Nardil (30mg) and Clonazepam (0.25mg) - low doses of both. But after a couple of beers I'm quite sleepy, and the more I drink after that the sleepier I get. After say 6 beers I'm literally lying on floor.

I know getting drunk all the time is not good but there's some situations where it helps a LOT e.g. you have to go to a wedding for 9 hours where everybody is drinking wine and dancing.. getting a bit of a buzz/confidence increase/energy boost helps a lot and puts you on the same wavelength as everyone esle.

Doe's anybody else have experience or knowledge about this?
I was thinking that perhaps because Nardil, Clo. and alcohol all increase Gabba that could be why you feel sleepy. Or perhaps its gluten in the beer. I'm gonna try other forms of alcohol wine, vodka and see what happens. Perhaps an energy drink. I've read about people getting drunk on Nardil, and other people getting drunk on Clonazepam so I don't know what's up. Maybe I should try taking Ambien instead of clonazepam to sleep.

Reply's muchhhhh appreciated thanks

Nardil has a metabolite which slows the breakdown of GABA. If alcohol causes a release of gaba, the nardil could possibly intensify the effect.

Update: Caffeine pills work reasonably well. Just don't over do it as Nardil and Clo. are strong medications. Drink water and pace yourself. You won't get completely smashed, but you'll be feeling good and roughly on the same wavelength as other people drinking. Peace.

I want this metabolite in a pill. Do you think there is a chance of getting that? Nardil itsself makes me psychotic. But also MUCH more outgoing and less socially anxious.
