Is this feasible?

Baclofen affects the GABA-B receptor, while benzos affect the GABA-A receptor. I had a very good response to baclofen, initially. I was taking it for muscle spasms in my lower back, and it eliminated my depression and anxiety. But after I'd been on it for a week, it started to cause terrible insomnia, probably because baclofen increases striatal dopamine levels. (This was also probably why it improved my mood so dramatically.) My insomnia got so bad that I had to quit taking it.

If you do try baclofen, don't stop taking it suddenly, as this can cause seizures. Taper off of it instead. Baclofen can cause somnolence, but this side effect may fade away over time.

An interesting book about baclofen is The End of My Addiction by Olivier Ameisen.

Yeah, also baclofen is not great for schizophrenia / psychosis because of its dopamine elevating effects.
