the first time i took a 20mg tablet in hospital, i felt all my thoughts and memories slow down, in a way it was like a relief from unpleasant thoughts, it was hard describe the first 20mg, like my mind went back to previous mindstate when i was younger. For years i waas more quiet and melllow, not extremly talkative like i was, but i didnt like it, but when i discontiued a trial after 3-4 days my mind went into a frizzy hell, at 20mg

at 2.5-10mg is good for anxiety and some unpleasant thought, 15-20mg is strong and reinforcing, you'll feel sedated and sometimes your so calm you don't talk as much from the sedation....i've noticed that with zyprexa, it's a strong anti-psychosis med, but it helps depression in some.

but 2.5 - 10mg yes could slow down thoughts that make you have anxiety

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olanzapine

only thing you have to know, if you stay on it, it can cause weight gain, i've done couple days with no zyprexa but after 3 days or more, withdrawl happens, even though it's not a benzo, or controlled substance. It blocks certain nuerotransmitters that make you more stable, there's no benzo relax feeling, it's more for slowing thoughts down

rjlockhart37 what do you think about Risperidone? it looks like its similar to zyprexa as it also blocks a lot of neurotransmitters. If you look at the Pharmacology of both and you can see the similarity.

i knew couple people took respirdal, one my old people, got the respirdal injection, the consta which it would last weeks in the body, but zyprexa is more sedating, it's stronger in some ways, but some people do better on respirdone, but zyprexa is long acting, you could take 1 tablet it would last up to 20 hours, risperdal lasts short, around 4-6 hours... : these are studies i found on google, but there just studies
