Shockaholic

Posted by Horse on January 10, 2017, at 15:14:55

I'm listening to Carrie Fisher's Shockaholic. I didn't know she'd undergone ect. Her story and comments on her mental health are interesting and amusing, at least to me, for example, when she describes searching for once familiar words or bipolar weight gain.

I know this is old news, but here's a review http://tinyurl.com/zgdzwr7

She has two books both are on Barnes & Nobel, Amazon most likely has them also. I didn't know she had bipolar either thought was just Patty Duke. Phillipa

i'm just now starting to know how widely known she was known, i mean i knew she was in star wars and many movies but reading all these articles about mental health, drug use, and psychological treatment including the shock, her mother was Debbie Reynolds ... alot of drug abuse i think is to safify pleasure in tbe brain, sometimes people more prone to abuse alcohol or substances is fill a dopamine regulation to help them feel better......but she defeintly is a icon legend i won't forget

She reads the audiobook. I got this from Audible. I pretty much like her narration. I've read one other book, I think Wishful Drinking.
