I don't know.

You might as well post your question on the Alternative board, too.

I am curious to know what your rationale is for wanting to take a substance that works on these receptors.

Have you considered low-dose risperidone? I recall seeing something that indicated it was a 5-HT2a/c inverse agonist.

I hope you find what you are looking for.

ginkgo, feverfew and kudzu may be herbs to look into.

Feverfew is a 5-ht2a,b antagonist, ginkgo is a 5-ht2a antagonist. Kudzu *may* be a 5-ht2a/c antagonist.

ever since i had the huge benefits from periactin, but had to stop taking it after getting to too high a dose after lower doses slowly stopped working, ive wanted to find something that would give tbe same benefits again. and ive figured if theres an herb that mimics the effects of Periactin at these 2 receptors without any antihistamine effect, then i might be able to take it in varying doses with it being much safer.

i dont get why the few herbal 5ht2c antagonists ive looked up have been described as aiding weight loss.
any antagonist at that receptor should be causing weight gain instead.

Maybe it has additional properties at other appetitive or metabolic regulatory pathways.
