Buspar hypomania?

Posted by Sheilac on October 26, 2013, at 15:50:27

Can Buspar cause hypomania?

Not sure what it hits in the brain. I know after about a month it calms, but it seems to feel speedy at first.

I forget...are you on an AD? Sometimes, pdcos use BuSpar to make ADs work better. Maybe that combo can trigger mild activation/hypomania?

Didn't the Pubmed links work? They work here when I click on them, but they are without abstracts because old articles in Pubmed are without abstracts.

I ended up stopping it as I moved up to 1200mg of Trileptal.

Plus, now, for some reason, Buspar just makes me super hungry.
