med resistance update

Posted by rjlockhart37 on March 20, 2013, at 12:14:59

alright....hello, doing fine....i took my nuvigil, and prozac this morning and like usall nothing happened, and everyone, my mother, the doctor says its all in my head....god its makes me so mad because there is something that is not working, not absorbing or canceling out the medication from working normally, and no one listens to me. So i'm gonna have to figure this out...i was watching a christain program the other day and i have to say, this is what happened it was 700club, and this lady said there is someone with a emotional condition that causes them to feel darkness, and depression....and right then and there...i knew it was god speaking through her...she said it was going to be healed, but after 20min of feeling hope and joy, it faded...and next morning it was still there....the dark doom gloom feeling. I have faith but God seems to not do anything when i pray and have faith....leave it in his hands...and then nothing....

but anyways sorry i got off subject...but i've been preoccupied with reading about getting healed through Jesus Christ...for this thing that's causing the medication not to work...and its tough because there is dead periods of nothing even how hard i pray, or have faith....its like the dead lands, nothing. So....i've gotta take this into a medical problem and find out what it is...this is so frustrating beause ill take it...it will have minimal, to no effect....and leaves me to where there's no medication at all....i hate my body for doing this....i just want to kick it, do something to express this anger i have for this problem.

Blood tests? is there like somesort of ionization that can cancel out the effect? i think my body is trying to protect itself from previous substances i put in my body...and now its my medication too....

ugh....i know i won't get much responses, but i've got to let it out somewhere....im stuck and feel trapped...

It could be that your body is absorbing the medications just fine...you just aren't on the right meds because it sounds like you are still having a lot of symptoms. If you're doctor won't work with you than your only option is to find another doctor. Are there any community mental health clinics in your area? I wouldn't count on the 700 club being able to help you out here... herpills

i've been to a mental health facility in 2010...i actually was inpatient during christmas till new years....that is one time i will never forget....in a psych ward during christmas.

But anyways....no they really don't help that much, its a public mental health program...its not that there not enthusatic...but i realized state hospital doctors are not as compassionate as privte practice doctors. Some of them are monsters....in white coats.

The 700 club is a thing i watch at 10:00 every night...i don't know why but i always wait for the healing part of it to come on...hoping they will say something for me.

I'm not a optimist....and im not bothered by the worst....

i take the generic...its a yellow round pill...and i let it dissolve under my tongue...still even when it does the effect is minimal at times...sometimes it will work, but there's others like it has no effect...its the stupid resistance in my body that does it. I'm so sick of having to deal with more complications in my health, and psych part too....it is so frustrating....

why don't you ask your doctor about 20mg? that may have a better effect than 10mg....its vary calming.

I'm actualy thinking of asking for 15mg everyday, up from 10mg.

You didn't answer my question. Did the meds stop working when you started the generic zyprexa? Two months after I started generic I found that I wanted to smoke pot again, which I have now for the past year. The same thing happened when my doc decreased zyprexa years ago. It started with drinking more and more. The thing is right before I went on generic zyprexa doc reduced my meds including zyprexa. So I don't know what is happeneing and what to do?

actually that does make me think.....i used to get samples for zyprexa before it went generic...i rerember it worked better, but still there could be a slight diffrence in the way the drug takes effect in generic form. Regular zyprexa is really $$$ ....

alot of people talk about this topic here on the boards....the generic has to be the same chemcical but its mixed diffrently...than brand name...and that is what may cause a slight diffrence in effect, or delivery of effect. But no when i started generic zypras it didnt really have much diffrence....

that's all....

There is a specific preparation called Zyprexa Zydis which is a tablet you dissolve in your mouth...if you are taking the regular oral Zyprexa and trying to dissolve in your mouth it might not work right. herpills

Hi I forgot to mention there is also another preparation called Lamictal ODT which is a dissolving tablet maybe you could try that version instead and it would be better absorbed?
