Luvox the older maelate version patient reviews

Posted by Phillipa on March 11, 2013, at 12:30:05

Was reading patients reviews on the internet reguarding luvox vs lexapro. What struck me the most was the ages 50's up seem to have been on it like 15 years and no poop out and they love it and only take between 50-75mg. The lexapro less liked it and more listed side effects of anxiety. Most of luvox reports stated it helps for anxiety. I found this interesting as it's an SSRI just like lexapro. Anyone know why? Thanks Phillipa

could it be that luvox being about 30 years old..hits on some of the other chemicals around serotonin whereas lexapro does not..like i said earlier i've heard some say its not a true ssri but i don't think its true

It has actions at sigma-1 receptors, making it more anxiolytic and may also work on depression.

Tensor read it all. I don't know what this difference means in simple terms. Could you explain this to me. Inhibits valium. Mean make weaker or stronger? I thought it also did this with all the other benzos with the exception of ativan? Thanks Phillipa
