My Parnate Augment......

Posted by brklyn233342 on March 10, 2013, at 17:36:32

Even on high dose treatment of parnate, even with augmentation,i still note a feeling of a lingering sadness as well as trouble getting my day started,i.e leacing the house etc.

As i sit here, pondering what to use for a possable augment,my mind drifts to the only substance that worked and had no interactions,MXE a cosion of ketamine, said to be safer and more potent, worked great for me,first it stopped a extreme anger issue keeping me totaly calm always, almost not allowing anger to show period,i had some lol tests and i just sat there calm and smiled, also it dident lift my mood but provided a non zombie like numbness to me that kept a lot of pain and sadness away,so since it doesent interact and is notably easy to use,i dont see any options to add however i ask here if anyone else has one please chime in.

My current augments are MODFANIL for the fatique of parnate, and ghb for social avoidance and anxiety i have.

I wondered if i was just drugging myself however with a time period off my augments due to simply not having them,i was counch ridden and totaly non functional so i guess for whatever reason my brain requires a hybried of treatments to band aid whatever it is that is truly wrong.

p.s i definatly use cbt like strategies all the time and am a believer that like seizures certain brain illnesses like hard core depression, anxiet, ocd, schizo, etc need medication the same way seizures of migraines do.

Willyee,

Have you ever had your vitamin D levels tested? Mine recently came back low, and I've just started supplementing with the vitamin. There are some studies indicating that vitamin D may be beneficial for individuals with depressive disorders, and it's also my understanding that people with depressive disorders are more likely to have low vitamin D levels than most.

That's just one thing to think about, if you haven't already.

No i havent thanks, ive come to believe my depression is to agressive for anything natural to help, this is after tons of NATURAL TRIALS of all the popular studies like magnesium glynciate for example, however ill look into it thanks, like everyone else i have spiraled into a backlash of suffering and trying to claw my way back to remission so i can live some form of a "normal" life

Willyee,

You could be right that it might take more pharmaceutical (as opposed to natural) treatment to help relieve your depression. Have you tried augmenting with antipsychotics, such as Abilify, Seroquel, or Zyprexa? I've also heard some good things about Latuda, which I believe is the newest antipsychotic on the market. That might be something worth trying. There's also Deplin (l-methylfolate), which is technically a natural product but can only be obtained with a prescription. The FDA has approved it for the add-on treatment of depression.

I do hope that whatever you end up trying, whether it's something that I mentioned or something different, will help to relieve the suffering that you're going through. I wish you luck with getting a good treatment regimen worked out.
