It's been newly prescribed. Please, anyone who takes this, has taken this or has any feedback, please let me know.
Thanks.

I have schizo-affective disorder & take Saphris 10 mg in the morning. I haven't experienced any serious side effects except a temporary numbing sensation on my tongue. It's an effective atypical AP for schizophrenia and bipolar mania. It doesn't even make me drowsy. The only thing I don't like about Saphris is that you can't eat or drink anything for 10 min after taking it. Hope this helps.

Can I say, just ignore how it worked for everybody else, and see what it does for you.
Tha fact that it made me feel on top of the world, and that it made someone else feel like deat doesnt matter - what matters is how it works for you, and the only wan to find that out is to try it with an open mind

HI good luck with your Saphris trial, it sounds like you really need some relief. For me it was/is a good med, the other atypicals I have been on include Geodon, Zyprexa, and Abilify. The Saphris had the most benefit on my mood as well as really helped a lot with sleep. I don't like the sublingual tablet and wish it came in a regular pill. I also felt a little off in the morning when I first woke up but that wasn't so bad. I did gain a little weight which pdoc said wasn't from Saphris but then when I went off it the weight came off right away. I took 5mg before bed. herpills
