Nicotine

Posted by Phil on July 5, 2012, at 9:25:25

I stopped smoking 6/24. I smoked 30+ Marlboro Lights a day and started smoking when I was 13. I heard about e cigs somewhere and picked one up expecting to be underwhelmed. Well, I smoked my last cig 6/24 and it was a painless transition.
I don't smell like smoke, my breathing has improved, no wheezing, no lighters, no ashtrays, and there are hundreds of flavors to choose from, tobacco to tangerine. You choose what mg nicotine you want and if you want, gradually decrease the amount to zero and stop.

This isn't a miracle cure, it's harm reduction. But from my standpoint, it was a miracle to get off cigarettes when I really wasn't even motivated to do so.

It is much cheaper than smoking but there are a lot of cool e cigs and juices and some people end up spending more which is totally unnessecary.

This isn't a sales pitch but I know a lot of mental people smoke. Cigarettes will kill you, e cigs won't. No combustion, no tar, no 4000 chemicals.

Lorillard tobacco bought 'blu e cigs' for $135M. Their CEO quit smoking using them. Welcome to the new world.

Thanks Phillipa. I've read about 3-5 pack a day 45 year smokers quit after trying a vape. Big Pharma is gunning for them because patches and gum are practically worthless and these allow you the physical sensation of smoking along with nicotine.

A guy had these figured out in 1963 but most people saw nothing wrong with smoking in those days so it never came to market. In 2003 a pharmacist in China patented them and it is a huge market now.

They are banned in some countries which is perplexing. I guess they want their citizens to smoke the real thing. They will pay the price.

A close friend who was a heavy long-term smoker and had never even tried quitting, she was so addicted, switched to e-cigs and gum and has been off cigs for almost 5 months. She smokes the e-cigs in the car, since she totally associated driving and smoking, and uses the gum at work. I am so happy for her.

Phil if you google cigarettes and cost of got a site that lists each state and what a pack costs. I see Texas levied a tax today. Over $7 a pack is a lot of money. Phillipa

So far I've used cartomizers(a cartridge with an atomizer built in), Stardust clearo's(you can see thru them), dripping(not big on that) and right now I'm holding a Vivi Nova tank. lol It holds a lot of liquid, is clear and really cool looking or really stupid looking, depending on what side of the fence you're on.

The e cig business is expected to quadruple by 2014.
That's means a heckuva lot of smokers said bye to the Marlboro man. That's no small feat.

Stories like that are happening thousands of times a day. Me, I gots to have my e cig close by at all times.
The gum and patches were useless to me. I'm probably more addicted to the hand to mouth, puff inhale stuff.

I was paying $5.50 or about $55 a carton about every 6 days. I knew it was insane, I hated it but had given up on quitting like millions of other people. And those are the people that will find e cigs, just a matter of time. I feel better mentally, emotionally, and physically and it's only been 3 weeks.

Hundreds of online sites and some cities have retal stores. I buy some of my stuff from there guys
hoosieregigs.com
I buy my 'e juice' from Rawr Vapor because the guy makes amazing flavors.
I posted links for a friend yesterday. You can get a very high quality battery for $25, a tank to hold your liqid, $12, a usb charger, $3, a 30ml bottle of juice(equal to 2 cartons of cigs)$15.
These sites carry quality stuff so never buy at a mall kiosk, Walmart, 7/11..they are all crap and the big name e cigs can cost $200 for a starter kit.
The best thing to do is what I did, Google e cig forum and go there. They generate 100,000 posts a month and they cover everything.
I have 3 batteries going today. lol All Rawr liquids. Peach Serum, Banana Cream Pie, and Truth Serum. They rock.
You can request how much nicotine you want or get none.
I know I've posted this already..I think, but if you asked me a week before if I would ever quit smoking I'd say hell no, I'm smoking myself to death. One e cig changed that on the spot. Hope you consider giving it a go.
I believe in these so much that I may look into setting up a website. By 2014 this business is expected to quadruple.
