Posted by Phillipa on June 8, 2012, at 12:35:03

I was really disturbed and still am to hear from a neighbor whos husband has heart problems and needs coumadin blood checks every two weeks that now medicaire will pay for only one visit to the docs a year? So far I didn't get a letter like she did? Anyone know anything about this as would effect all docs I'd think? Thanks Phillipa

Might be the once a year anual physical. I'm on medicare and that all I get. But I also go to other types of appointments. Every 2 months I see Pdoc and I also see the GP more than once this year. I'm on Blue Medicare with BCBS. Don't know that would make a difference.
