Jeroen I simply don't know. What has the doc said about this? Why temporarily stop the abilify? Does this mean you would return to it? Phillipa

sometimes increasing the dose of abilify makes the medication more soothing and less stimulating. Increasing the seroquel might do the same.

10 mg of abilify, i cannot take more for severe side effects, i already feel like sh*t on this med but its blocking my extremely bad experience with lamictal for 3 years now

:(

i just read that i know someone with schizophrenia that was diagnozed with leukemia and he doesnt take chemo therapy for 3 months until he died, its all that bad this life

I would try lowering the dose to 5 or 2.5 mg first to see if the side effects subside. Sulpride could be a good option. How would you get it? Prescription from your doctor?

Jeroen,

You should try reducing the ablify to 5mg and see what happens. Do this for a couple of months. See if you feel better.

If you doctor is that inflexible, you may want to find another one. I'm sure there is another good doctor out there that will fulfill your needs. Not all psychiatrists are "evil".

i havent talked with me doctor about it, first i need to get my freedom back from a law suit case i lost. if possible so i can find a doctor willing to quit the abilify and start something with less side effects, but ill always keep an extra abilify just in case i get a psychotic attack
