Effrexor experiment...

Posted by SheilaC on December 21, 2009, at 12:33:07

I have been on 75mg of Effexor for 6 days and I have felt jittery at times, and tired at other times. But now, after 6 days on 75mg I am starting to feel agitated.

Is this a sign that I need to go up on my dose or that I may need to take a mood stabilizer?

I am BPII and am not taking any other med right now except for .5mg Klonopin.

Will this jittery feeling (I'm thinking akathesia)?

Would Seroquel count as a mood stabilzer with Effexor, of would I have to use Depakote?

When I tried Depakote on it's own it made me depressed.

Effexor always made me feel jittery and it never went away. A mood stabiliser might help. Give it some time though. Don't give up on the effexor yet. The jitteryness may go away on its own.
