possible pristiq 100 not working?

Posted by floatingbridge on August 25, 2009, at 14:11:00

I know it's still too early to tell. I'm into my 6th week and feel worse off than I did at 50. Fatigue, depressive episodes, anxiety are up. Sometimes I can't tell what's a psychological response.

I'm just posting because I'm unhappy. Any comments welcome, but not expected. I would love, however, to hear from other pristiq users.

fb

one good response--I don't need a sleep aide! (it's hard to wake up, though!)

How long have you been at 100mg?

I'm sad that you are unhappy. You don't deserve this.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your kindness. I've been at 100 for 6.5 weeks now. Sigh. I see my pdoc on Friday....

fb I'm sorry thought you were doing well on pristiq. I was starting to feel it might be a good med. That's a long time. Love Phillipa

Thanks Phillipa, I feel like 50 left less of a footprint. Right now I suspect side effects w/o any benefits. :(

Sorry FB!
Wish I could help! I know the vyvanse helped me with the fatigue.....I know that you use dex but vyvanse is a bit smoother and lasts longer.....might want to try it......
Hope it gets better! I still take a low dose of the librium with it.....
Good luck!
Hugs from FM

Hi FM,

Good to hear from you! I think that 50 of pristiq was better than 100 for me. Still not done with my trial yet.

Vyvanase--do you think it might work for social anxiety in addition to fatigue? will run it by my doc tomorrow.

thanks!
