the site set up for ago seems to me, members are already mix an matching,i thought there number 1 reason was sex an weight issuse,s as other benifits of ago are sketchy, excuse my thick head ,but if you start mixing with other meds ,arnt you going to cancel out the sex an weight advantage you are looking for, also i read reports of it makes me see things more clearly an not have the dreamy sedation of ssri,s. but in a high anxierty situation ,you need the sedation , a thing ago dont seem to work on well,if it worked on its own on anxierty an depression then an only then do i want to try it ,i dont want more add ons ,or is there a point to it

It would be great if one drug could do everything we wanted it to but it just doesn't work out that way for most of us. So we mix. (My pdoc told me that I will never be well unless I take more than one medication.) Besides, not every drug that you mix with will give you weight gain and hamper sexual performance.
In addition, agomelatine has some unique features in that it can help to reset your sleep cycle and prevent that flat feeling that you can get with an SSRI medication. (Of course if you mix it with an SSRI, then you'll still get that flat sensation and all of the rest of their side effects.) Ago does help some people enough with anxiety and for some others they're able to combine with something else (not an SSRI) to cover their anxiety. Then they have the beneifts of Ago without those side effects we've been discussing.
But I think you've made the right decision for yourself at this time not to try Ago. Given your extreme anxiety and the fact that the NHS will only give you one medication at a time and that you're not in the frame of mind right now to try a new drug, staying the course on sertraline sounds like a good move. You can always change course at any time in the future if you change your mind.
