Over the last few years, I have not been as engaged with posting on Psycho-Babble as I had been for the years before. I started posting in 1999. My posts were long expository pieces with a great deal of time and effort devoted to helping everyone I could. Of course, I still gleaned much for myself to help me cope with bipolar depression and search for effective treatments. I'm not sure of all of the reasons why I should not be posting as vigorously as I had in the past. However, I sense that for me, this is a good thing.
I just thought I would take the opportunity to recognize all those people who currently contribute so much to Psycho-Babble. Whether you are helping others or helping yourself, the caliber of participation here leaves me feeling that people are keeping this website an energetic place to seek and give education and support.
I may never again post on Psycho-Babble with the same intensity and effort towards completeness that I did previously. However, knowing that others here do leaves me feeling that the community is well-served by its current members. I learn something new from them every day.

Sorta ironic lol your posting,..reson being is i personaly feel you offer a TREMONDOUS value of info on this sight,if im stressed for time and can read a post or two i usualy will make sure i read a new post,you sir in my humble opinion have contributed a abundance of value to this site,i reached out to speak to you in person on brklyn234@yahoo.com but never got a oppurtinity to speak to you,still again you remain a incredable asset to this site in my opinion.

Scott, I wasn't here when you first began posting, but I think your current level of participation and wisdom is wonderful and a gift to all of us.
I too think Babble is amazing and I'm so glad I found it. I hope all of us continue to keep it this way.

yea I havnt been participating as much. As we get better, we dont need this as much. (for me). I do consider you a very wise person though. u da MAN

I have noticed your participation is reduced. Do you feel that you shouldnt post if you are unable to put %110 percent into your post or answer? You really outdue yourself Scott...very impressive when you do post. But I dont think you should feel this way (not posting because you cant add anything usefull - heard you say this many times; or not posting because you cant assemble what you feel is a perfect text). Just add opinion if you can, anything to help someone interpret something different...or even just pointing someone in the correct direction. Its great that you feel the quality of your posts should dictate whether or not you do get involved but again...just post to participate. Everyone here learns something pretty much every time you have something to say.
I myself am not educated in pharm...at best I can only offer newbie understanding of the chem involved but I still try to offer something to people to help. You do that well Scott. Dont feel down because you cant reach that perfect response. I read you as a guy who puts everything he has into what he does when he can. Great character to have.

Scott I always listen to what you are contributing as you know I first joined babble when cymbalta was new and followed your cymbalta journey. I also am someone who doesn't have the knowledge or ever will that you have. I hope you will always remain here. You're a huge assest to babble and I look daily for your posts. Love Phillipa

I've spent hundreds of hours at other forums...chelation, thyroid, adrenal, Lyme, psychiatric. None of them come even close to having the kind of traffic volume or expertise that comes through psychobabble.
Not sure, but I think I've been coming here for about 15 years? Took about a 6 year vacation in the middle there when Prozac+Zyprexa+Adrafinil had me pretty stable.
I've seen a lot of good folks here.
