Every Atyical seems to cause blood glucose to be higher than normal. Im not sure why they picked seroquel.

I really do feel for you, Jeroen. I can't say much more than every day for all of us who are affected by mental illness (I prefer biological imbalance or the like, that's irrelevant here) have to work harder than the rest of the population to achieve our goals.

It is very possible that the dosages that you have been on atypicals have been low or not tried long enough.

Now the seizures you mentioned on Clozaril, are they continuing or are they a passing trend?

That would be really the only reason to discontinue a Clozaril trial for an illness that has affected you for a long time that otherwise passed the WBC testing.

Otherwise, I would think the dosage would be set at what is known as the MED (minimum effective dose) for you.

That really goes for all antipsychotics/neuroleptics -- they should be used at the dose most effective but least likely to cause adversity. This is the typical protocol today.

-- best wishes.
