Trazadone Plus Nortriptyline - any opinions

Have been using trazadone for sleep. P-doc wants me to use nortriptyline for depression and pain control. Any advantage to using both together.P-doc thinks I might have problems sleeping on the nortrip.Any advantages for depression with the combo? Afraid the two might make me overly sedated.
