she wants me to stay on 10mg of lexapro for another six weeks, after I've alredy been on it for six weeks and have told her that last night and this morning I felt awful, really listless, apathetic and at the same time agitated.
She says these things take time and that's been my problem not waiting long enough but surely the awful side effects and a slight mood lift should have occured by now.

Prozac works great for me, well certain brain chemistry works diffrent with people so....
I was just wondering if you could ask her about Prozac...but if you have hypomania you dont.
How does Lexapro make you feel?

> DeniseThat's ridiculous. If you've all ready been on it 6 weeks, it's absolutely time to bump it up to 20 MG.

Maybe if you increase the dose you will feel more agitated.
Do you think?OTOH, if you do and it does, you can at least say you've put your 6 weeks in.

yea your like me its either going to work in 2 or 3 weeks or its not gonna at all.... most doctors just think im being impatients when i tell them that but ive tried them for longer and none i tried for longer ever ended up working... i just started refusing to take them im like ok well im not going to take it anymore or i just tell them the side effects are not worth it and i want to try something diff...
