Librium Long Lasting

Posted by TheMeanReds on April 12, 2007, at 13:51:10

I'm supposed to take Librium twice a day, but I dont understand why. If it is long acting? I dont see why I would take two pills like 10 hours apart? I would be taking it at bed, when I dont need its affects. It makes more sense to me to just take it all at once. Around 10am-noon.

Mean Reds. So you sleep well and anxiety during the day only. Does your doc know that? Me the opposite. I like it all at once too only at bedtime. Need more info. Love Phillipa

Hi Phillipa, I have all the anxiety during waking hours. I take the Seroquel at night to help clear the anxiety, and knocks me out. It wouldnt do any good taking Lubrium during bed time. My doc knows I take the Seroquel for insomnia.

You dont take anti anxiety meds during the day? I take them an hour or two after my coffee. It seems the best for me. Xanax just didnt last long enough, so I took too many doses through out the day. Now I take Librium instead.

I'm sure you know coffee and the caffeine causes anxiety. Last official daytime panic attack was after a glass of Starbucks Iced coffee. Other sodas and such also have hight levels of caffeine. Love Phillipa

Ok its my 2nd day w/o coffee. Its not hard for me to stop drinking coffee. But the little espresso machine in my kitchen always makes the best tasting mochas and lattes. I'll need to put it away. Out of sight out of mind.

Now I just need to work on the smoking. Thats the tough one. I see people smoking and I want a cigarette, even on TV.
