Zyprexa vs Klonopin

Posted by deniseuk190466 on April 8, 2007, at 8:36:49

Hi,

What's the difference in effects from taking Zyprexa vs klonopin as an add on to an SSRI for anxiety?

I take Zyprexa now and again for anxiety but it makes me very apathetic for a couple of days after taking it. Which is preferable to the anxiety but I'd like something not so strong.

I'm not sure if the apathy is causing me to be anxious before taking Zyprexa or the anxiety is causing the apathy or if I'm just apathetic and anxious at the same time.

Thanks.....Denise

I believe you can regulate the klonopin easier and it's not an antisychotic although if you have suicidal thoughts supposed to stop them quickly. Love Phillipa

The main difference is that if you take Klonopin for an extended period, there is little likehood anything will happen except a mild drug dependence. If you take Zyprexa for an extended time, you may be able to save money by buying the XXXX-L sweatshirts that are too big for anyone else....
