Ambien, Lunesta, Sonata...and daytime anxiety.

I've read some prior posts and studies that suggest the BZ1 receptor agonists can cause daytime anxiety.

Theoretically it seems reasonable. How likely is this, however, at (FDA)-approved doses?

Can anyone attest to this or if they noticed a significant decrease in daytime anxiety after tapering off one of these meds?

Just started lunesta with valium and xanax. And it doesn't touch the amount of sleep I get so what else is new? Love Phillipa
