I don't know if it's made me spacey or not, which makes me think it hasn't. Mostly, for me, it's been the closest to side effect free med I've ever taken, and I like it very well.

Same here. I continue to loose weight on Wellby.
In general if an AD makes some people a little wired
it tends to work well for me as I also have ADD.

To try and sum it up, after I take my Wellbutrin and Zoloft in AM, I feel a bit "stoned" until early afternoon. I'm not really amped up or wired but rather just feel like vegging out which isn't good. Then everything clears up mentally and I'm fine the rest of the day. For example right now I'm about to hit the sack and I fell pretty good. I just wonder if the Wellbutrin is kicking in or wearing off...

PS: apologize for my grammer earlier today on this post.

Sonny,

What dose are you on? It sounds like you may be on too high a dose of one or the other. It almost sounds like once the drug starts to wear off you feel better.
When I took WB I was on 150 mg since 300 made me too wired.

Only 150 of WB. 50 of Z. I switched to decaf coffee the last few days. That helps a little. Today (day 7) morning was a little foggy, but the rest of the day not bad. Maybe I'm adjusting. I have another week at 150 and then I'm supposed to try 300. I'm apprehensive about that.....

I was on it at 400 (?) mg SR / day. After about 2-3 years I discontinued it because it made my head literally on fire at night and I ruminated before I slept.

But some people like the stimulation, as they say, your miles may vary.

Certainly made me as horny as a teenager. I suppose that was its only positive value? :)

It makes me clumsy with a tremor, but very relaxed. I can see why it's used for restless legs

In fact I feel wired. My pupils are dilated, everything's too bright and I feel on the edge of panic all the time. Does this go away? Or should I give up or stay on 150mg? All advice welcome thanks Fred

My doc wants to add wellbutrin for my tiredness. It makes me anxious though. Has anyone had any luck adding klonopin to help with wellbutrin anxiety?

Well I guess if you're not already on a benzo that would work. Love Phillipa

Yes, and a small bit of clonazepam or diazepam is good to take with Wellbutrin even if it is (hopefully) SR or XR, just to cover that small chance of seizure threshold.

But, in the end I have disclosed that I discontinued Wellbutrin, it set my head on fire at night and I ruminated.

Lyrica 300mg and more
and/or
a mild antipsychotic like Seroquel or a stronger one like Risperdal

... those can deal with Wellbutrin anxiety

The antipsychotic is a bit overkill and the Lyrica is getting esoteric.

Lyrica has up to a 10% chance of causing degraded vision (I know, I wish it worked)

Risperdal is likely to cause akathisia in a number of people with affective disorders.

A simple small dose of a long acting benzodiazepine is all that is really needed.
