I am on paxil. If I take dexedrine it helps a bit but the drop off from dexedrine when the effect wears off is never pleasant so now I only take dex once in a while.
I have low interest in sex, low sex drive, I can ejaculate but it doesnt feel too enjoyable.
I took a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor Vivarint aka Vivalan/Veloxazina (or something) and that cured all loss of interest infact it turned me into a sexual animal.
Any meds out there similar to this?
I plan to get together with someone end of this month for something ''casual'' not serious and of course that means sex. But guess what I am hardly looking forward to it at all anymore since stopping the dexedrine. I stop dex and black eyes dissapear but so does my small sex drive.
What can help? I also need to add something to paxil anyway to help with my strong depression. Paxil helps for it but I still have ways to go.

Adam, apart from the sex, how did you find the Vivarint as an AD? I assume it felt quite different as an AD to Paxil? I dunno how bad your depression is, but a drug that works as an AD but destroys sex isn't that helpful for everyone.
People talk about various things.....cabergoline, cialis, Wellbutrin (haven't tried that), herbs, cyproheptadine, mirtazepine, other dopaminergics (can cocaine be far behind?).....and IME none of them are that good. Silk purse out of a sow's ear, basically.
I'd be trying to reduce the Paxil and not get depressed. Is that possible?

Maybe estradiol valerate injections.
Or, sittin' by sea drinkin' booze w/ bare toes in wet sand.

I need paxil to maintain non zombie state. vivarint worked a little for depression. i cannot recall but i know it gave me a higher sex drive than i had even before i was poisoned by accutane (caused my depression). The best side effect ever. I could masterbate 10 times a day if I wanted to. Vivarint was incredible in that regard. I would be meeting women right now but no MY SEX DRIVE SUCKS so whatever.

Well, in that case there's cabergoline+Cialis+Wellbutrin+Tonkat Ali. After I tried Cialis+cabegoline I didn't feel too good. Never tried Tonkat Ali. Withania is a herb that is safe for many and has mild prosexual effects. But it won't be strong enough. Marty above somewhere had good results with cabegoline, Wellbutrin, and Cialis, I think.

can't you go back on a bit of the vivarint?
if it is not a nono with the paxil maybe--as needed?

Vivarint was one of the only meds to help me but no I cannot get it anymore as it is only available now in france.
