To anyone who has taken effexor for quite some time, can you explain to me if you are feeling the same way.
I feel like one moment Im ok and another moment i'm freaking out, very hostile, angry and upset. I want to cry.
I've been taking this 225milligrams for about 2months now, but before i was taking 150 milligrams. At first i thought it was helping, but now i don't think its working anymore? I see my physc on Friday, so I will take it up with him?
What does a mood stabalizer do? I hear allot of people taking effexor, are taking a mood stabalizer? I am taking Clonazepam for Anxiety. they say that Effexor is suppose to help with that, but I don't think so...
Can someone out there maybe offer me some support?
Thanks a bunch

Yeah, I know where you are coming from. I was up at 225 but my head was so clouded that I went down. Though I'm not sure if it was the meds or not. But it did seem help at some times. I don't know. But know I'm on 150 and at times I'm okay and others I'm not. I've been on it for almost 2 and half years, but I'm really not happy with it, but the withdrawl symptoms were worse than the med its self

In my experiences w/ the big E, I need to keep going up and up in dosage, until I hit a ceiling where I fear climbing to extremely high doses. I really don't know what the 'cap dose' of Effexor-XR would be. Somewhere in the 300s maybe. Anyone know?
Anyway, the way it works w/ me and my attitude about very high doses, I think of it as a short term AD. I have no difficulty (odd-bird) discontinuing it.(?)

I think that's exactly what my physchiartrist will say. Up it! I don't think it's enough either... So will see, maybe it will help!
Thanks for your support!
