Does anyone know date of new sleep med

Posted by Mandy on September 10, 2005, at 12:44:19

I heard there will be a new sleep med released in Sept--I think it is called rozerem. Does anyone know exact date and anyone have any experience with it? Lunesta just does not work that well. I still wake up too much in the night

Just called my local Walgreens and they have it. Rozerem is the trade name, ramelteon is the chemical name. It is only available in 8mg. The pharmacist said it's about $48 for 14 tablets and $95 for 30. I've been waiting on this med for nearly a year. Eager to try it out but from experience am not getting my hopes up too high.

Haven't tried that sleep med. I thought Zopiclone(Imovane) worked pretty well though. It doesn't leave you feeling groggy the next morning because of it's short half-life.
