Just got back from taking my daughter to the docs for some calpol and i seen a guy getting his prescription for his zispin (remeron) seen the tabs and i thought WTF i had them for 2 years and they changed them to the soltab version(disolvable) and they told me they couldnt get hold o the other ones i was on (the orangy/rusty oval tabs) so i was like WTF WTF i had to stop them dead in their tracks cus the disolvable version made me start to hallucinate and i went into deep depression still suffering now nearly a yr after !! and brain zaps etc, obviousley i couldnt have nothing else after cus nothing else has ever helped me !!
i said to the pharmicist about this and she told me they have always been about, i was like well the other pharmicist and physciatrist and doctor told me they cant get hold of them anymore only the disolvable ones?
what to do? im so p'd off now, the damage this has caused me having to stop the only med that ever helped me after 2 years of being on them? and for wat reason? being told something that wasnt true?

Hey sweety, cant u see a new pdoc? I know its harder in England, but it seems like you need another pdoc's opinion. If I dont see benifits with one doc, I will change. But I realize its easier here in the states. I just look for another doc on my insurance plan and go...

Hi,
Generic mirtazapine tablets are now available. Zispin only comes as SolTabs.

Hi,
I don't understand, why would there be a difference in affects anyway between a disolvable version of a drug and one you swallow. Surely they're still both the same drug and do the same thing at the end of the day?
Can somebody explain this to me please?

>Well, although the drug is the same, the inactive ingredients won't be, and some people might react differently to those inert ingredients.
And sometimes the "placebo effect" can make a difference: someone who thinks that a different version might work differently might react differently.
I suppose it's also possible that there could be differences in someone's saliva that might break down the chemicals differently? Dunno...
Those are the things that come to my mind, at least...

I guess the difference is a different speed of absorbtion!?
I think the speed the blood level rises upon ingestion ist important.
You can get high if you inject anticholinergics...
If you swallow the same amount there will most likely be nothing like that...if you smoke or inject cocain it gives a much stronger high than regular snorting...
And I guess the other ingredients or even a dissolable version differs in terms of absorption...
Just my thoughts..
