No. I still can't smile as one side of my face is numb and my mouth just won't go up. And it didn't make my eyes look open like they were when I had the same thing done before. And My left eye waters. It does seem to be getting slowly better. But if I'd known about the scars under my chin and on the side of my face I never would have done it. So now when I thought my depression was gone I'm really depressed. It's amazing how non-resisliant I am today. I used to be able to fall down, brush myself off and go on. Really thanks for asking. It's nice to know someone cares. Fondly, Phillipa

Phillipa (it's so lovely to see all of your posts and thoughts) -
It's early days in terms of the healing process. I hope that you'll feel differently in about a month.

Partlycloudy, You are a ray of sunshine in my day. I tend to be, no am, very impatient. Especially with something that I saved for and was dissallusioned with by realilty TV. You are very correct. I will try to not be so negative and look for the glass being half-filled and not half-empty. I tend to be a very negative person when it comes to me. I need a lot of work, and not the plastics type! Thanks again for being kind enough to post this Thread. Fondly, Phillipa

I hope your feeling better soon too :)

I really hope you are feeling better real soon too. I hope the surgery heals great for you. You are really a great person and you always offer support for me, and for everyone else on the board. Its great having a person like you here :)

Also, this was a few days ago, I dont know if the post made it as i caught it late, you were asking about what dosage of zoloft I was on that made it hard for me to withdraw, I was at 200mg. Are you still on 25mg? I found with zoloft I didnt get good effects until I reached 100mg. Anyway, take care and look after yourself and I hope your feeling better and well soon :)

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Yes, if I'd known i too would have stayed with the "Turkey neck". But people aren't as kind out there as you are here. I come home with my head swimming. Today I went and had my roots touched up and a little trim of my hair. The beautician said she had never seen scars where they could be seen. Then another lady says "my friend couldn't smile either and she went to the best, Chapel Hill, and they said there was nothing they could do". Meanwhile my plastics guy calls me to see how I'm doing. He tells me everything will be okay with time. Then after the beautician and lady had me already upset they say "oh it will turn out okay just be patient". Why can't people just say nothing when they know you are scared. Again thanks you are all too kind. Fondly, Phillipa

Once you can see the results a little more you will feel sooo much better...and that just takes a bit of time. You're a beautiful soul.
