Listen, i have posted about this before but i was convinced i was having a panic attack.
I am now begging to belive it is a Siezure.
Before these attacks, i experience the following:
1. An Aura feeling rising in my stomache
2. An altered state of consiousness
3. Spaced out, but have anxiety a the same timeWhen the attack hits:
1. A oncoming rush will hit, and disorientation, feeling i have lost my mind, and a terrible feeling of what the hell is happening to me.
2. In a critical attack, a feeling of a electric shock, like ive just got shocked by jumper cables.
3. paranoia , looking at things, even a wall, i almost have a convultion, it is too intense i cant handle it.
4. Getting prepared for impact from an unknown force.
5. Sometimes, a rush of sexual arousal over nothing, but it is NOT pleasant!
A while ago i just had a mild one, but it was not intense because i just kept repeating in my mind "shut down". If i dont it will get to the point where i feel i have just lost my mind.
I am taking Dilantin, a old Epilepsy medications, that my step dad takes. I now must have to tell my doctor, because i dont know why this all of a sudden happening to me. Brain Tumor? i dont know,i am afraid, i may need to get a CAT scan, an see a nuerologist, because i am taking this seriously.
Please imput your knowlage, i really need your help on what the hell is going on.

One doc told me that a true seizure involves a loss of consciousness. But, I have heard differently with the conscious and unconscious thing. It is usually common for someone to mess up their pants when they have a seizure.
Are you on any meds besides Dilantin? Did you start taking the Dilantin to treat yourself of what you thought were seizures? If you do have seizures, you should not be driving. You really should be evaluated to see what is going on.
I have something similiar to what you have, but it's flashbacks from child abuse. I hear a buzzing in my head before one.

You need to talk to your doctor and have him do whatever testing he considers necessary. As soon as possible. It's not a good idea to take someone else's medicine, especially when you don't know the cause of your own condition. You need to contact your doctor and see what he wants you to do.

I am mentioning this, because I have the disorder and you mentioned about the other inside. While our symptoms are not exactly alike, they are very similiar. Here is a website that has a list of characteristics of dissociation -http://www.msnusers.com/MPDHIDEOUT/signsapersonhasmpd.msnw
I may be totally wrong about my hunch about what's going on with you. I still strongly suggest that you do see a doc and get checked out to make sure you are okay. Please do that and let us know how it went. Again, I may be totally wrong. I do want to see you get good care to treat whatever this is. It's sounds very frightening to have such things happening and not know why.

Hi,
Your symptoms don't sound much like most people who have seizures, but it is impossible for anyone to tell over the Internet. Your symptoms sound more like panic attacks than seizures, but that is just my own uneducated impression.
At this point you need to make an appointment with a neurologist and have this investigated. The neurologist will perform a physical exam and then decide whether or not to proceed with an MRI. If nothing is detected you may not need a brain scan.

Are you taking any other medication, SSRI's? Are you taking St. John's Wort? These symptoms sound exactly like an episode I had a few years ago. It was serotonin syndrom caused by St. John's Wort.
But I've had serotonin syndrome since, cause by other things.

I am taking Wellbutrin 300mg.
I've heard bupropion , causes siezures but mostly at higher doses. I dont take high doses, becase i did once before (650mg XR) adn i was erally in a bad mood.
Im still 17 and dont have my own insurance yet, so i will have to tell my parents. But i belive its needed if there is any sign of a malgrowth causeing these symptoms
What are the symptoms of a brain tumor, or other malsymptoms?
Thank you very much

I had a little bout of absence seizures and I didn't feel them coming ... I just suddenly "woke up" in the middle of something ... and it would take me a second or two to realize where I was but I had absolutely no memory of "blacking out" per say ... if I could make an analogy it felt like if someone took the "film" of my life, cut out 3 or 4 frames and then taped the ends back together.
what you describe sounds to me like depersonalization episodes which can be very distressing ... but definately talk to your doctor and he can help you find out what is going on.

Many people on this board have noted that wellbutrin is not the best choice for panic, and can even make some of them worse.
You may want to talk to your doctor about this, and perhaps ask for someting approved for panic disorder.

I would have to agree with Camille. My 4 year old son has been having seizures since he was nine months old. According to the Doctors, you yourself don't know you've had a seizure. There is an abscence in your memory and you are very confused about where you are. Afterwards you would also be very sleepy from the strain on your body. Please, talk to your doctor soon. Whatever is happening has to be very terrifying for you.
