There is several ways the drug companies try to sell there product to you.
Brand Image: clipboards, t-shirts, magazine ads
buttons, hats etc.Word of Mouth: they hope this will increase sales
and help stockholders investmentsRepeat Business: they think if you like it you will come back and buy more drugs, they are hoping this will increase their sales

I don't doubt it Stryker88. The commercials for these medications are a bit of a joke. For example, I would now be running on the beach with children after taking Lexapro. Maybe, I would be riding with a bunch of friends in a red hot rod in the county with my hair blowing in the wind. Yeah sure. No, I am trying to earn money to pay for these medications. They don't show that picture. Do they?

Hah! I agree completely. I was floored when I finally WATCHED the Wellbutrin commercial. Like any of us lead a life like that! For me, approaching normal means being able to get dressed, and if I try really hard, I brush my teeth.
Still, I do seriously consider that these meds saved me from being a lot worse than I was. That is worth a lot of advertising, but it sure aint pretty.
