so i finally decided to try and live like a normal person
and i am using about 6 mg of ativan a day, and could use a lot more
i thought this stuff was not addictive?? or i am expecting it to alleviate too much anxiety?

hey cybercafe, just my advice and experiences. i took ativan about 2 years ago and it did nothing for my anxiety. i asked my doctor to switch me to something stronger. he gave me xanax. this has helped me tremendously. i have not had anxiety or panic attacks in 2 years (assuming you have anxiety). but xanax is a very very good anxiety reliver. hope this helps

Mix with zyprexa? Thats what I do. Anxiety from abilify?

hmmm... well abilify gives me more energy, so i should be able to take MORE ativan without feeling tired no?

well it certainly worked for a while for me..... my doc just switched me to 2 mg clonazepam bid, which seems promising

6mg of ativan a day is a LOT in my opinion. I was under the impression if you took 1mg or so straight for over 90 days you could get addicted to it and benzo withdrawal is no fun at all. I think you should follow your doctor's advice to wean off it slowly. I took Celexa as well. Some people do real well on it other's don't like it. Peace.
