Have been on Effexor xr and 15 mg of Remeron for about 10 days. Doc increased my Remeron to 30 mg.
Forgot to ask how long it might be until I notice a change? Anyone know ? I have uni. dep. and am doing much better, but still have a ways to go.Also, I'd appreciate it if the anti- Effexor people would not use this thread to tell me that I'm going to die due to the effexor.

I am on 225 + 30 ATM. Took me about 2 months for the Remeron to fix my sleep problems. I get a lift from Efexor every time the dose has been increased, but it's not increasing my energy enough.

sideEfexor side effects that Remeron fixes are insomnia, nightmares, anorgasmia, nasuea & diarrhoea.

Thanks for reply. Haven't had nightmares, diarrhea, or insomnia from Eff, but Remeron already seems to be helping with anorgasmia. Eff. indigestion sort of went away with time.
