ritalin kicking in

Posted by dazed on February 13, 2004, at 8:35:20

How long does it take Ritalin to kick in? I want to know if I can tell when it starts working. I took 10mg (generic) 10 minutes ago. Still nothing. I realize generic doesn't work as well, so next month I will ask for name brand.

The generic I take is generic of Ritalin, which is used for ADD and narcolepsy. It is a stimulant, which usually have immediate results (by immediate, i don't know if they mean 30 minutes, or 1 hr), but it is noticeable the same day.

It doesn't make me dingy like Adderall did (adderall made me feel just as unfocused as ever, if not worse). This generic ritalin I think will help, but i haven't really noticed a huge difference, just better than adderall so far due to not feeling dingy and stupid.
