Hi, my name is Ace! I'm a Nardil user (like you guys didn't know that!)
Lately I've been reading a lot of threads where people are doubting the powers of Nardil. But do not doubt, for Ace is here!
1. DOSE- A lot of people have expressed concern that 'Nardil isn't working that great'. These people might only be on a dose of 45mg-60mg or even less.
For some people they need a dose of 75mg-90mg to really get this baby working. If 4 weeks of 60mg (I agree with the standard monograph which states that many patients need 4 weeks on 60mg for a response) doesn't get your smile wide ram the dose up to 75-90mg.
2. DURATION- Nardil can either kick in all at once or over a period of time. I think one should give it a good 8 weeks to start showing promise...then another 3 to provide some big effects.
Anyhow, that's enough from me. I'm sure I had more to add but I forgot because my brain is a bit fried still from my Parnate experience.
But always have faith in Nardil- for some reason I always knew it was going to kick in and blow me away- and it did!
But remember those two 'D's- DOSE AND DURATION.

I have not heard of Nardil {cept for now} It sounds like a gay uncle!
I'll do a bit of research and see if my pcp has a handle on it.

I raised my dose to 60 mg 3 weeks ago.
In the first week , I remember , I had and incredible, the best ever day I have had on my life in the past 8 years . I felt the necessity to smile !! all the time , and to say hello to everybody , help people , It was amazing . I was saying hello to everybody in my school , talking to everyone , enjoying the life !! . Inmediately I though this is what ace feel all the days with nardil , oh jesus this is the best !!! now I can understand you ace
Unfortunately I had just one day like this in this 3 weeks on 60mg. Im gonna stay another week on 60 , my doc told me to do that . But I guess Im gonna have to increase the doseWhat do you think nardil champion ???
Do you think I can have more days like the one i told you ???

I remember I used to be so happy I purposely bumped into people so I could smile and say sorry!! It made me feel so much love for everyone! I am going up to 90mg soon, so I can feel that again!

YES!! I believe if you raise your dose to 90mg you can have YEARS like that! But once you feel that great every day, DON'T change your dose.

There seems to be a lot of Nardil junkies out there. I doubt that I have ever heard of a AD that seems to have such a positive impact on peoples life. Im wanting to try it myself, yet if you spoke to some one on the street they would of never heard of the stuff. Im glad for you guys who are having such a positive effect on it.
Have you guys ever heard of really bad reactions to the stuff ?? or most people seem to tolerate it well

I have never red similar reports about ADs.Reading your posts it seems that all TCAs - SSRIs users are wasting their time ;-)
According to my encyclopedia MAOIs are the only antidepressants who affect undepressed people (for the dopamine thing I suppose).
Ok, sorry, I was wandering a bit ... Ace and Tepiaca how is going on with the sex thing ?
did you gained weight ? Ace, what was wrong with Parnate ?I'm asking because I'm not leaving out the possibility to try MAOIs in the future.

at this dose of 60mg , I have a little lost of libido , but nothing compared to SSRIS like Zoloft , and I spent more time to reach and orgasm , but I still can . Dont know if I could do it on 75 or 90Weigth??? Im a rookie on Nardil , Ive been on it only for 2 months , in this time I have gain a couple of lbs , but that is something that I can control.

Hey everyone, im thinking about taking nardil for social phobia and ocd. Do think it will help? it sounds like such a more better drug than the ssris. I was always heavily sedated when on the ssris. Have any of u experienced this fatigue on the ssris and benefited from (with lack of sleepiness) from nardil? thanks

Yeah! I love it too! Nardil has a real sedative effect on me...lovely day time naps and great sleep at night!

Absolutely! For both conditions, too.
it sounds like such a more better drug than the ssris.Nardil dusts any SSRI and leaves them all for dead...
I was always heavily sedated when on the ssris. Have any of u experienced this fatigue on the ssris and benefited from (with lack of sleepiness) from nardil? thanks
Nardil provides me with a calm, happy sedation.

Sex- cause anorgasmia which cleared up after a few months.Weight- caused weight gain.
I don't care but. Nardil is the best, and the s/effects are worth it.
Ace, what was wrong with Parnate ?

I have rarely heard of very bad reactions to it. It can cause a lot of s/effects in the short term. But boy is it worth it in the end! You just have to get through those first 6 weeks or so. Sometimes it works quicker but.
