MOA inhibitor could help ADHD

Posted by superRitchie on October 20, 2003, at 17:28:40

Yea,
I have ADHD pretty much really bad, and i also get really depressed at times. Ive tried ADHD medications , adderall and such with anti-depressants and still no real postitve effects(with the depression) at all. Im ready to stop switching antidpressants(SSRI'S) and adderall. I've hurd of Parnate with is a MOAI, does anyone think it could also help ADHD with depression since it targets mostly all nuerotransmitters? Does it effectivly raise mood? Thanks for any info.

parnate definately raises mood for me

i'd say it helps a bit with ADHD, but not enough for me (but my ADHD is kinda bad)...... in about 6 hours i'm going to try taking parnate with ritalin ... if it doesn't kill me, i'll let you know how it goes :)

The only thing I can say is that I went to a psychiatrist and talked to him about my adhd featured and he prescribed me Parnate. So it might help. (I didn't take it anyway)

Another thing that might help you is an italian research I red. in this study imiprammine (tofranil) scored +++, moclobemide ++, and IMAO +

Therefore if you have not yet tried it you could consider moclobemide (Manerix/Aurorix), which is a RIMA, the so-called "gentle IMAO"

>>>Cybercafe ... it sounds like a bomb ! please don't die and report us the results : )
