Pill #5 (prescription)

Posted by Sebastian on October 15, 2003, at 11:51:59

I just added a cholesterol med to raise my good cholesterol. Every month I'm suppoesed to increase up to 4 pills a day. I just started 5 days ago with one pill a day. This added to 5 mg zyprexa, 80 mg celexa, 300 mg wellbutrin, 50 mg toprol xl, asprin. So when will I keel over. Already I feel spaced, over medicated, and some times wory that I will black out or something an drive into a ditch. So far I take 500 mg of niaspan(B vitamin) and expected to go up to 2000 mg. Will I make it or should I just give up on it?

Don't feel bad about having to take a cholesterol drug. High cholesterol is often a hereditary condition. I have high triglycerides and was told to cut out SUGAR, so you may want to try that if you can.

Also, you're not taking too many psychotropics; I know individuals who take many more than you're taking. By the way, I never asked you what your diagnosis is.

Hang in there.

I'm actualy trying to raise the cholesterol! Give me some credit, I go to the gym regulary and not over weight.

PTSD, saw my friends death right in front of me. This lead to psychosis, depresion, catitonia, anxiety, parinoia, drug and alcohol abuse, locking myself in the house, social withdraw (I still can't get over it, it just turns to anger)

How does everyone afford all these meds????

I have not been able to function or work for years and am basically broke and have my parents helping me for money. I dont understand how everyone is functioning so well when i can barely care for myself and don't seem to care to either. Can someone explain how people afford to live?
